It's not clear whether you wrote Greg's name down and this was spotted by Moaning Myrtle, or if you wrote Myrtle's name down and this was spotted by Peeves, but you definitely had someone who looked over your shoulder at a key moment and it might have been a ghost.
The important thing is that no one has any idea where the rumour started but everyone seems to know the key point, that you put someone else's name in!
