I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good

My mum's birthday is on Wednesday.

Last year I thought about trying to send her an owl but I was too scared of being caught to do it. And I couldn't say anything about it in the journals. Mum doesn't even have a journal and I'm not sure my father reads his.

And this year I couldn't send her an owl even if I wanted, because the owls are all gone to the Ministry. I sent money to Mrs Weasley to buy food for my parents though because I'm sure things are really bad right now, we were always hungry during the winter but I expect my father can't work at all right now because of the risk of exposing my mum to the sickness, so it would be even worse unless he's been lucky with hunting.

Anyway there isn't anything really I can do that I haven't done already but I just wanted to say, it's my mum's birthday and I miss her.
