So I guess we'll be calling her Professor Desai, not Auror Desai. And Professor Sandoval-Pennifold, not Auror. (THAT'S a bit of a mouthful. Shame she couldn't have married someone named Smith. Or changed her name. Or something.)
Hydra looks a bit peaky, but Finnigan and Patil look ghastly. It's hard to tell from over here, but I don't think Finnigan's eaten a thing. Dolohov, Desai, and Sandoval don't look so good either -- well, Dolohov looks almost normal. He's eating, anyway.
We've got a good crop of Firsties. They're SO LITTLE. Kind of shocking how tiny they are.

Date: 2014-09-02 01:05 am (UTC)I feel bad for Hydra, if so.
Not so much for Patil and Finnigan. I mean, I wouldn't wish it on them, mind you, but remember how much they lorded it over some of us that we'd got the wrong end of some git's wand and they hadn't?

Date: 2014-09-02 01:22 am (UTC)I reckon being cruciated by him's worse than having it from Umbridge. Or Sandoval. (And, oh, isn't that a happy thought!)
Brilliant. I'm soooo looking forward to this year.

Date: 2014-09-02 04:37 am (UTC)Thing is, now we've got Sandoval back, I reckon there's a good chance we'll find ourselves back on the receiving end sometime. Not that I plan to give her--or any of them--an excuse.

Date: 2014-09-02 04:51 am (UTC)At least we won't have her as a teacher....except, Dolohov may INTEND to teach us all but what if he gets sick again? we probably shouldn't count on not having her as a teacher.
Maybe I should ask Dolohov to write me a little excuse note, 'this person is studying to be a Healer and should not engage in any serious Dark-slash-NOBLE magic in class; please do not cruciate her for turning down the opportunity to practice her cruciatus skills.' Just in case. Because she's going to think letting someone study Noble Arts who's following the Healer's code of ethics is UTTERLY naff.
