What do you think your dad's going to do when you don't have to go stay with him anymore?

I mean. Do you think he could get a proper job now that your mother's gone? Has he tried? Do you think he'd stop drinking if he did? Because maybe we could try to find something for him. Maybe Mum could help, or Bill if he wanted to work at the Ministry, or some of the others.

I don't know. He COULD probably get a proper job now but he hasn't, you know? Probably because of the drinking.

I don't think it's a good idea to ask the Order to do him any favours. I mean, beyond what your Mum has already done for him.

No, I mean, I don't want him to know anything about the Order. At all. I don't want him to have any idea who might be in it and I don't want him to know I know people who might be able to do him favours.

Because I don't trust him.
