I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good

BLOODY HELL.
In the Dark Arts exam just now Alecto Carrow threw up. And then she took her wand and I don't know if she transfigured her vomit or charmed it or what (I was trying to focus on the exam) but it ... it started CRAWLING AROUND, the vomit I mean, it was like she turned it into some sort of vomit-based creature.
And then she started laughing. And that made her vomit AGAIN. You can see where this is going. ANOTHER vomit creature. She made it crawl up onto the head table and ooze its way across and all the while she was laughing and retching and laughing and retching and then she suddenly stopped and sort of folded up where she was standing. And that was when someone fetched the Head Girl.
If it were any other teacher I'd have got out my journal and written Madam Pomfrey. Alecto Carrow would've cruciated me for cheating on exams if I'd done that (or failed me, or both). AND I hate her.
A bunch of teachers came running and she came round but wasn't really coherent, I guess. Maybe she's been drinking. Anyway they had us leave our parchments while they ask everyone exactly what happened and they'll have someone to proctor the rest of the exam for us in a few minutes.
And Milland's cleaning up the mess. Well, first he had to turn it back into regular vomit, THEN he had to clean it up.

Date: 2012-06-08 09:46 pm (UTC)wow.
she doesn't drink. much. not like the git does. well, not as long as i've known her, I mean. who knows if she's started to tipple a lot more in the last year. maybe because she hasn't had the git around. they're close. real close.
she's not normal, but...that sounds a lot more not-normal than usual.

Date: 2012-06-09 12:17 am (UTC)What do you mean, you're going to have her all summer, what?
Has he told you that? Carrow, I mean to say.
I say, I'm not even all that sure she could survive the whole summer. From what I've seen--and I'm well glad I'm not taking Dark Arts--she doesn't look healthy at all. It's almost as if she had cancer or something like that.

Date: 2012-06-09 01:23 am (UTC)I suppose she'll want you to fetch for her and clean up after her and all that bunk. What rubbish.
That's one thing about the Protectorate that's bally well daft: Getting rid of all the Muggle medicine. She ought to be in hospital instead of going to a castle with no proper doctors.

Date: 2012-06-09 01:28 am (UTC)I still can't believe they let Carrow just get away with killing a student like that. You'd think that'd be hard to ignore. Even if they turned a blind eye to the rest of it.

Date: 2012-06-09 04:11 am (UTC)If someone could convince one of them that the Healers at St Mungo would find what Madam P didn't, and get her in horrible trouble for her incompetence, that might persuade them.
The only problem THERE is that I don't want Madam P to get in any trouble, and maybe she did miss something? I mean, Professor Carrow is still sick (and she keeps getting sicker).

Date: 2012-06-09 02:53 am (UTC)But the state that you're all reporting she is in is ominous. Not that I would shed a tear if she died, far from it. But what he might do if he loses her...no. Better not to even think of it.
Maybe she'll be too sick to
play her usual gamesbe too demanding.(no subject)

Date: 2012-06-09 03:02 am (UTC)I dunno. If I manage it...well, we're pinning our hopes on the theory that it'll break the blood binding they've got over me. But we don't know. If it doesn't work, I don't know what I'll do. Guess I'll just have to figure out something else.
I do know one thing: I won't rest until I find some way to be free of them.
