The book list for Dark Arts came by owl this morning. Whew!

I'll be on my way to Diagon Alley in a bit, with Philip (who doesn't need any books for Dark Arts yet but is very, very excited to be going to Hogwarts this fall). See some of you later...

I was thinking just that. And how much my own parents would have scrambled to add a whole new set of books on top of what they'd carefully planned for. They hated admitting they couldn't provide everything we might need just for the asking.

While I'm half-reminded of it: I know we'd talked about you spending the time you've been working with me with Madame Pomfrey this year, to gain experience. I'm still just fine with that (not that I won't miss that quiet time), but if you do find yourself in need of pocket money, do let me know, and I'm sure I'll have some handy tasks.

I'm rather assuming that the time I was spending on YPL matters is going to get wholly subsumed by navigating wedding planning, and will be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be less all-consuming to handle.
