Well, so.

Apparently Pig thinks that 'don't let anyone see you' means 'until after your letter has been delivered.'

Gemma thinks he's adorable and wants him to stick around so she can dress him up in doll's clothes. Pig clearly thinks this is a brilliant plan though if he actually got stuffed into a dress he might change his mind. If he has a mind. I think that's open to debate.

I didn't have a letter ready so Pansy you're getting a blank sheet of paper, it's not a code or anything clever. I just didn't want him to wait any longer than he had to (I did keep him in hand long enough to get him something to eat, he was also acting like he was STARVING. And then when I came back he was performing for Gemma. Nitwit.)

He's off to Pansy now. I told him to bring it to her when she was alone.

There's also the option of having him deliver at night, without waking anyone else in the room. Did he manage that, when he delivered to you two?

Thing is, the Professor's told us that the git keeps crazy hours. Sometimes he's up all night drinking, but other nights he crashes at sunset. No predictability. He used to roust the poor kid out of bed at all hours to order him to do crazy things, too. Like the world will somehow end if the shelves in the Transfiguration storage don't get rearranged and dusted at 3:00 a.m.

Carrow surely gets mail occasionally. We could send him a clipping from the Prophet or something, it doesn't have to be real mail.

Well -- did he ever do anything awful to one of the Hogwarts elves? Because attacking a post owl would be rather like that. He wouldn't know it was unregistered, it would just turn up with post like any other owl. Even if Carrow thought there was something odd about it, by the time he even knew to wonder the owl would be gone again.
