Quidditch at the Burrow

...was brilliant. I got to play every position except Seeker at some point or another although they didn't make me keep playing Beater after I broke one of the windows.
It was nice to see Wood again, and Jeremy behaved himself (mostly).
Jeremy asked his parents and they said it's alright, so: the rest of you are invited here next week to play quidditch, if you'd like to come. On Monday, I think that's when Mrs Stretton thought it would be best. Owl me or tell me here if you can or can't make it, and if anyone else wants to come play you'd be welcome.

I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good
Date: 2010-07-10 02:48 am (UTC)I think Wood misses me. He told Jeremy he was lucky to have someone who's good on a broom who lives at his house, I don't think Jeremy had thought of it that way before. Jeremy's really jealous because everyone knows Wood will probably sign with a professional team when he finishes at Hogwarts. He'd give ANYTHING for that, I think but with being off the team, I don't think it's likely.

Date: 2010-07-10 04:37 am (UTC)Although if we did, he'd probably stick us with all of the camp chores for the rest of the week.

Go Sally-Anne! Fast as you can! Take that Quaffle and chuck it in the can!
There she swoops! Flying loop-de-loops! Throw that ball right through those hoops!

But seriously, how are you going to get better if you don't play? You have to fly. It's just for fun, anywiz.

Date: 2010-07-10 01:21 pm (UTC)And, y'know, he's the one who had the best suggestion about getting the Silver Arrow going again. It really worked! So I guess Stretton's a bit of all right, even though he can be dead annoying some times, can't he?
And, yeah, I'm definitely coming. That'll be wizard! I'll find out about the twins and Ginny.

Date: 2010-07-10 01:22 pm (UTC)And tell Jeremy I'll bring the Silver Arrow, too. His idea worked a treat, and I've almost got her going.

Date: 2010-07-10 03:40 pm (UTC)Well, this next time, I'll just play on your side to make it fair!

Date: 2010-07-10 03:46 pm (UTC)Well, she said yes after I wrote Mlle Haupert so she can give me a double lesson on Wednesday, so there's that.
Or, as the French would say, Cest la vie!

Date: 2010-07-11 03:17 am (UTC)You are getting awfully good at saying sorry. I hold Sally-Anne and me entirely responsible for that.
And Crispin isn't all that bad. He had to come get me once when mum got really sick and I had to stay at St James, and he was really decent about it, and sat up with me half the night when I couldn't sleep because I was so worried. And he didn't have to, but he did anyways.

Date: 2010-07-11 06:56 pm (UTC)like I told Sally Anne,it would have been totally ridiculous to miss out on Quidditch at the Strettons over not saying sorry. I mean, Percy's a silly git with no sense of humour, but I'm not going to stay in trouble for a whole week and do extra chores and not get to go anywhere, when all I've got to do to get out is say sorry. And, yeah. I'm pretty sure I can still come. Mum hasn't said no. Nor Dad. Course I haven't seen him yet today, 'cause Mum let me sleep in and he was already out in his workshop when I got up. They don't usually let us sleep in, but I think probably they thought it was a good idea if Percy and I didn't eat breakfast together. He's a total grump in the morning.
