I have some good news and some bad news.

The good news is -- you know how Ron has been trying to learn the animagus transformation? He transformed! Just now! Into a snake. (No WONDER he had such a hard tim

Except he immediately tried to eat Sebastian and when Sebastian ran away he followed him into this little crevice in the wall and he's not coming out. That's the bad news.

Also, when you're an animagus you're still YOU, right, and Ron would never try to eat my pet, so -- he couldn't have accidentally just transfigured himself, could he? I mean, you sometimes hear stories about people transfiguring themselves while trying to learn the animagus transformation and not being able to change back from being a rabbit or whatever because they've actually turned into the animal. But, he didn't have his wand out, so surely --

He's red, by the way, and he's not a very big snake so he really could be anywhere. If you're in the castle and you see him could you try to -- I don't know. Don't tell anyone it's Ron, though, I don't think that would be a very good idea.

And I'm in that classroom that's around the corner from Alecto Carrow's old office (everyone still acts like it's haunted so it's a nice private quiet spot.) Only Ron slithered off into the wall. He could be anywhere.

Has anyone seen Hermione?

Mr Snape, is she brewing for you today? Do you know if she's in the secret room? I mean she hasn't written in her journal but if she's brewing something complex that wouldn't be surprising.

Also -- has anyone seen Draco?

Right. I'm sorry Mrs Weasley, but we need to stop looking for Ron and start looking for Draco, Hermione, and Teddy Nott. I think this is rather more urgent.

If you find Teddy, keep him in sight and tell Hydra right away. Stun him if you need to and can do it safely but don't do anything that would put him in the hospital wing, Hydra needs to ask him some questions and he'll need to be conscious and able to answer them.

Daphne went to Hydra because Teddy was gloating about doing something to expose one of Draco's secrets. We're very concerned that Draco and Hermione are in real danger from Teddy. If we find just Teddy, Hydra can find out from him where they are. If you find Hermione or Draco, let everyone else know.

Professor Sprout, Mr Snape, if you can look too -- that might be a good idea.

Right. Ron's back in human form, but he didn't have his diary with him, so I'm posting to let you all know. He's walking really oddly, but

I'm going back to the Slytherin common room before I fall under suspicion for ... something. Also, I want to find Daphne. Ron's on his way to Gryffindor. That's okay, right? We don't need to run for our lives?
