I mean, I suppose it doesn't really matter if the grownups read this but they either have proper jobs or they're fugitives so it's not as if they could actually take advantage of this.

Ron came to the Strettons today to help me deliver baskets and Mrs Stretton was positively delighted, she paid him a galleon and let him help himself to whatever he wanted from the Bad Jam cupboard (which isn't just jam, there's all sorts of interesting stuff that winds up in there. Also, it's not actually BAD, we just call it that because it doesn't go in the baskets. Mostly it's things where the label's crooked or whatever.)

Anyway Ron can't come tomorrow or Tuesday because of his internship. But Mrs Stretton would LOVE some extra helpers and said that if I can get any friends to come in, she'll pay them a galleon per day plus a box of stuff from the Bad Jam cupboard. (There are also tips sometimes, but don't tell Mrs Stretton that.) If going through the floo makes you sneeze, though, forget it, because that's what you do, you floo over and over with baskets and deliver them to people.

I told her I'd see what I could do. She's utterly swamped this year, I think it has something to do with those businesses that all got closed down. I don't quite get it -- people were planning to give a gift certificate to a brothel, but now the brothel's closed, so they're giving a basket of oranges and pears instead? But, whatever it is, we're drowning in orders. Anyway. The trouble is, Slytherin is full of rich kids and delivering baskets over hols for a galleon a day plus tips and free jam is not exactly high on their list of holiday priorities. So I'm not sure who to ask.
