It's been a similar story here in the sett, except for a couple of things that have been rather out of the norm.
Professor Grubbly-Plank is one. She's been an all right Head of House (better than some!) but she doesn't really do people, so a lot of the day to day handling of interpersonal things has fallen on Ernie & me & the rest of the prefects.
But this morning she gathered everyone & made a little speech about supporting one another, and said "Busy hands are often the best medicine for grieving hearts," and she's been sort of giving everyone jobs or things to do. Like taking some people down to the Menagerie to help her clean cages, and organising OWL students into study groups, and bringing out her personal Kneazles for any students who don't have them and want to sit & stroke something furry. I can tell she's absolutely furious though; it's in the way she scrubs.
And then there's Zach Smith, who's wandering around muttering about how this just isn't on.
