It's just that I've been helping with project for the Octobori, and it's been taking up a lot of time. Jeremy came up with the formula this summer, and I helped some but really he did most of the work because I don't know as much about how to model energy transference and there are all sorts of angles and things to factor in too.
Anyways. It needs checking, and all these permutations done on it to see what the results would be under different conditions, and each permutation takes hours to complete, and then I've got to double check it. And it's absolutely got to be finished by the end of the month.

I wish Fitz could check my work. Or Professor Vector. I'll probably run it by Professor Sinistra, only I'll have to explain the formula so she'll know what to look for because it's not really her area and I'm not sure I can explain it well enough, but it's very important I get it right otherwise it could be very, very bad so Jeremy has what he needs and doesn't have to fix any mistakes.
I really had a very good time. And it was good of Daphne to think of it. I hope I didn't come off as rude.
