I'm back at the Strettons and I've had a nice hot bath and all my robes are clean and dry again AND I got to sleep in a proper bed last night. That was possibly the most miserable week for camping we could have asked for.

Madam Umbridge kept turning up and poking her nose in things, and here's the really funny thing. At the beginning of the week, I think she assumed I was a pureblood, because I'm in Slytherin. But then she found out I wasn't, probably from Healer Stint, who was ALSO there for part of the week, and INSTANTLY it was like in her eyes, I was a completely different person. Before she knew, she thought I was clever and competent and after, she thought I was some sort of pathetic magical weakling and surely Draco was covering for me.

AS IF.

Anyway she made it clear she didn't think half-bloods ought to be in leadership positions like YPL counsellors. Not by saying 'I don't think half-bloods ought to be YPL counsellors' but more things like, 'Do you really think, dear, that's the right thing to do in this situation? Perhaps someone with a different background would handle this problem differently.'

That's such total, total bollocks. Who does she even think she is?

Yeah, who IS she? I mean, what does she have to do with the YPL programme? Is she part of the oversight team from the Ministry or something?

(If she's that bad about half-bloods, imagine what she'd say about muggleborns.)
