Everyone's talking about Crouch. Whether he's really dead, or if he's alive. Because Draco sent him a message last night, and his Mum sent one today AND so did Bellatrix Lestrange.

Draco looks like he ate something that gave him a stomach ache. One of the older boys asked him about his message to Crouch and he said it was between him and his family, which could mean absolutely anything.

If Crouch IS alive and Draco knows, he surely didn't know last night or he'd have told you.

I assumed he was writing to Crouch the way Susan wrote to Hannah, to say things he couldn't say or didn't say when Crouch was alive. And I could imagine Mrs Malfoy doing something like that but not if she was ALSO going to send a message to Mrs LeStrange and I really CANNOT imagine Bellatrix LeStrange writing out a eulogy in the diaries!

Yes, most likely.

He said he was really hacked off because it was making his mum act so off, so he wrote without thinking.

Which means that it was probably not very nice to Mr Crouch.

Because exactly. I can't imagine Bellatrix Lestrange writing out a message to a person she cared about who'd died, in the journals.

I can't even imagine her doing it if it were Hydra or Rigel. Let alone Mr Crouch.
