After Madam Pomfrey decided you ALL needed dreamless sleep potion she decided that Ron and I needed to get back to our dormitories RIGHT AWAY.

Can you tell me what happened?

They're still asleep. At least for now.

I can't believe I missed everything!

I feel a little muzzy about it. That sleep potion was pretty strong.

But here's what I remember.

I was up in my tree, and then Hermione and Sirius Black came running up to the tree and helped me out of it. We were going to the castle and there were Dementors everywhere and I was so scared, and then Mrs Professor Carrow came out of the woods looking absolutely mad and started chucking killing curses at Sirius. So he shouted at us to run away, and we did, and got to the hospital room. And they were still fighting when we left, so we were both worried that Sirius was going to get captured or killed or something.

And Hermione told me that the two men that helped them with Buckbeak were Snape and Macnair? And they didn't want to hurt Harry, in fact, they all took an Unbreakable Vow just to prove that they wouldn't.

And Harry came back to the hospital, and when he and Draco came in, we heard that Snape and Macnair had been found with them and had been captured and put in a tower, and were going to be Kissed. As soon as we could, we went over and told him about Sirius and the duel, and what we'd heard about Snape and Macnair, and then he thought for a bit, and then he got this look on his face, this really determined sort of look, and he says, "I know what we have to do." And he pulls this timeturner out, and wait for something to happen so we can pop out without other people knowing, and then once Sally-Anne started vomming, we walk over so we're standing sort of behind this screened in area, he tosses the chain around our necks, me and Hermione and him, and twists the turner a couple of times, and all of a sudden we're in the Infirmary only it's earlier in the evening, and no-one is around.

So we had to run right away down to the place where Sirius was going to duel Mrs Professor Carrow, and we found Buckbeak there, tied up to a tree, waiting for us. I could hear myself from the past setting off my owl signal -- I was going to try and stop myself from doing it, but Hermione said that because no-one tried to stop me then, that means it didn't happen, and it was too late anyways. So we kept our heads down, and as soon as we saw us run away, we jumped out and attacked Mrs Professor Carrow from behind, me and Harry, and we hexed her with this keen combination we'd been practicing in Slytherin, and we knocked her clean off her feet. And when she was passed out we each took a turn Obliviating her. Just in case.

And then Hermione sorted out that the Snape and Macnair who had helped Harry with Buckbeak earlier were actually from the future, so in order for them to be able to help Harry in the past, they needed the time turner. And they needed to not be Kissed. So we gave the time turner to Sirius and told him to rescue Snape and Macnair from the tower, so they could go back rescue Harry. And he didn't look happy at all about that, but he said he would, and really he had to because otherwise we would have to rescue them instead and we didn't trust that Buckbeak would take us. He said he would tell them to give the time turner to Crookshanks when they were done so Harry'd get it back. And then he took off on Buckbeak.

And then Harry said that when they were getting attacked by Dementors earlier, Draco and Harry and Snape and Macnair, they were saved by a really big patronus and he wanted to know who saved them. So we went to the lake to watch. Only no-one else was there, and no-one else was casting anything at all, so then he got that look all over again and just cast it himself, and it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. It was a stag, and it ran across the lake and all the Dementors scattered.

And then we went back to the Infirmary and waited around the corner until the other we time turned away, and then just sort of walked right back through the door again, so it was like we'd never left.

So you see, Sally-Anne, when I asked you to vom, it really was a matter of life or death. Several lives, actually.

Yes this exactly. Only before what it was, was, there was also a werewolf, and that was part of why we all had to run so much. And I thought that Snape was going to be alright, I really did! I'm ever so glad.

That's what I was really unclear about. When we were running to the castle and you were trying to tell me about him, I thought you'd been Imperiused or something, but then Harry looked so worried when he heard about what was going to happen to him and Macnair too.

Do you think she'll remember? Mrs Professor Carrow, I mean? I woke up this morning, and when I remembered that part and what we did I got all shuddery.
