How goes the bartending?

All my favourite drinks are the sweet fizzy kind, the one where you almost can't even taste the alcohol. Didn't sound like those were mostly what people at the Elysian order.

They've moved me to the night shift in the infirmary so now I'm going to be awake and asleep at completely the wrong times. Last night was my first night. I'd have thought night shift would be quiet but NOPE. Just as busy as day but in different ways. I'm supposed to wake a senior Healer if anything dire turns up, obviously, but everyone seems to think I can be trusted to check record sheets before handing out sleeping potions.

Anyway I hope things are going well so far.

Hi Sally Anne. My shift just ended at 7 - it was first shift today, 11am-7pm, but last night it was third shift, 6pm-close, so when I haven't been Russell I've been sleeping, more or less. I have third shift for tomorrow so I'll have most of my daylight hours free.

Careful with those sweet fizzy drinks, they encourage fast consumption and usually bring about wicked hangovers. I'll give you that they're more interesting to mix than just measuring out a glass of whiskey, though.

I haven't picked up any revelatory intel at my new post, but I suppose it's early days yet. I haven't given myself away yet, either, so if that means things are going well, then I reckon they're going well.

I actually learned that lesson about fizzy drinks the hard way! I've been careful(er) ever since.
